Bob Elliott, 81, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Olney, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney, Texas with Andy Graham, pastor of Southside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Bob was born on November 11, 1936, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Frank and Hazel (Bond) Elliott. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant. Bob was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Olney, a past member of the Olney Chamber of Commerce, past member of the Olney Lionís Club, and a retired member of the Olney Volunteer Fire Department. He worked for Lone Star Gas Company until his retirement in 1981. He purchased Holt Hardware after his retirement from Lone Star Gas Co. and had worked for the Olney Housing Authority for several years. He married Juanita Wilson on February 23, 1962 in Knox City, Texas. She preceded him in death on June 23, 2004. He later married Judy Conder on March 6, 2006 in Olney. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rose Marie Childress.

Bob is survived by two sons: Patrick Baker and wife Lyn of Albany, Texas and Robbie Elliott and David of Ft. Worth, Texas; three daughters: Laura Spalding and husband Gary of Norwich, England, Cindy Green and husband Rick of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Patricia Key and husband Brian of Lakehills, Texas; two step-sons: Randy Conder and wife Jennifer and Rodney Conder and wife Donna; two step-daughters: Debbie Gameson and husband Allen and Christi Canada and husband David; one brother, Jerry Elliott of Dayton, Texas; one step-brother, Frank Griffith of Gault, California; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his best friend, Tony Wilson of Olney, Texas.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Lunn Funeral Home.
