Gladys Marie Sullivan Dunn, age 90, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Hospice of Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Chad Edgington, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Gladys was born on April 18, 1927 in McCamey, Texas to the late Ernest Joe Riley and Beulah (Allen) Riley. She married Willie J. Sullivan on July 31, 1948 in Graham, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1981. She later married Homer R. Dunn on October 5, 1985 in Olney. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1996. Gladys was a lifelong resident of Olney and Young County. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she taught Vacation Bible School for many years. She was an excellent seamstress and loved sewing clothes for her kids. She also loved to work with ceramics. Gladys loved to work in the yard and do home remodeling projects. She was the greatest, awesome, and most outstanding mom and grandmother ever, and she always put everyone before herself. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and six siblings.

Survivors include her three children: Glenda Bryson of Wichita Falls, Texas, Billy Sullivan and wife Patricia of Graham, Texas, and LaDonna Cowley and husband Kevin of Henrietta, Texas; eight grandchildren: Barbara Thwing, Eddie Joe Steadham and wife Krisi, Shannon Ingle and husband John, Stephanie Neel and husband Heath, Chance Sullivan and wife Julie, Rhea Sullivan, Robert Walters, Jr., Sheena Gutierrez and husband Reymond; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Bob Riley of Newcastle, Texas; one sister, Bessie Epperson of Graham, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
