he would always come down to the Johnson's when Jim, Billy and me would play home run derby. He always shagged the balls for us. He always called me butter bean for some unknown reason. he was a good kid.

I worked with Dirk in the Horizon and the Kairos Programs. I and many others will truly miss Dirk. He was a tireless worker who always dispensed God's grace to everyone he met. I considered Dirk my friend and brother through Christ our Lord. I will miss getting the opportunity to see how God was always working in his life, and using him to help others. He would not say no to God when he felt the Holy Spirit was asking him to help others. He always helped with a smile on his face. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends.

My message to Dirk:
THANK you for raising Brandon and I like your own. Lord knows that was no easy task, but you never gave up. I feel some comfort in knowing that Brandon now has you up there with him. Please send down some strength for Mom. This is merely too much loss for one person to endure in one lifetime. We Love you And we will miss you deeply. You'll Never be Forgotten.
Signed, Your Daughter
