Was so sorry to hear about Mr. Key passing. I spent many an hour with him and his wife learning the piano and organ - loved every minute of it. Sometimes I will hear a song and the fingers go right along with playing the music. He was one of a kind

Dear Mrs Key and Family,

Mr Key was such a kind man, and he always had a smile when I arrived for organ lessons.
I'm sure the music in heaven was glorious when he arrived.

Love and Prayers,

So sorry to learn of Edwin's death. He was such a gentleman and touched so many lives through his music. Even if they did not pursue music in their later lives, he certainly gave them an appreciation for it for the rest of their lives. Peace and comfort for his survivors.

Dear Frances, Carol, Sarah, Kate, and all the family,

How I praise Almighty GOD for His precious gift of Albert Edwin Key to you, and to us all! May God greatly reward Mr. Key in eternity for being His faithful servant and honorable steward of incredible talents!

Mr. Key’s legacy of music and mirth resounds in every heart who loved him, including mine. Your memorial survice had us both laughing and shedding a tear amid the sweet music and hilarious EDWIN stories; what a lovely tribute it was!

Our family was extra blessed by Mr Key providing organ music for daughter Katie’s wedding, besides the blessing of the many years both our children studied at Key studio. Thank you for sharing Mr. Key with us. We loved him, too.

I studied with Mr. Key only my Jr. Year in high school, but loved him all my life! He and Mrs. Key inspired and encouraged so many of us as we grew up appreciating their gifts of making beautiful music. May God hold you near, Mrs. Key and Carol, through the days and years ahead.

Mrs. Key, & family, I’m sorry to hear of Edwin’s passing. Although I only knew you both 3 1/2 months through work at Brookdale, I so enjoyed you both. He will be missed but heaven gained another angel. I was Mrs. Key’s secret pal in early Dec. & was sad I missed our reveal due loss of my stepdad. I pray you are blessed by God to be well & gain peace & comfort in the days ahead. I will see your sweet smile next week. RIP Mr. Key.

I’m sure the messages from students will be quite lengthy. I loved the four years I had lessons. My mother always worked hard to provide for us and thanks to Mr Key’s graciousness, we always worked details with my mother to allow me to study. Mr and Mrs Key always demonstrated such grace when they entered the room. I’m very proud to be one of the “Key Students”.
