Mary we are sad to hear of Freddie`s passing. He was such a friendly man and I always enjoyed visiting with him. He was on the fire department when I joined the department in 1977. He was a very dedicated fireman and hard worker. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time.

Mary Butch and I thought the world of Freddie. He was a great help many times while we were in business in Olney.
I have to share a memory from long ago, when Freddie came to the Smithwick house to unstop the sewer. He said it is stopped up because of the long hair BUT do not cut your hair because it is pretty. So we Smithwick girls kept long hair for a long time and kept Freddie coming back to the house once a year.!!!!

My great condolences to mary and the page family. I came to know freddy through his participation in the annual bob gray memorial ceremony we held at the Killeen fort hood regional airport. Mark Manning

Killeen, TX

I enjoyed getting to know Fred when he and Mary traveled to Killeen many times to honor his cousin, Bob Gray. He spoke April 18th at the Bob Gray Day and received a proclamation from the Mayor at the Killeen Airport terminal at the Robert Gray Army Airfield. He and Mary had helped with the statue and display there to honor Bob, his hero. Mary, the Manning family will be praying for you and family

I loved Freddie Page! I never called him Mr. Page or Freddie -- always Freddie Page. He always greeted me with a big smile and a warm hug. I know my dad, David Hays, was also especially fond of Freddie Page. While he was the constable, he went out of his way for Dad to see his eldest grandson before he passed away.

Freddie Page, you will be greatly missed.
